Data Storage

 

All your service records, including names, dates, awards, assignments, and photos, are stored locally on your device. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to create a backup file.

 

Backup Files

 

When you create a backup using the app's backup feature, a JSON file is created on your device. You have complete control over this file - you choose where to save it, who to share it with, and how to secure it. We never have access to your backup files.

 

Photos and Attachments

 

Any photos or documents you attach to your records are stored locally within the app's secure storage. These files are never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.

 

No Internet Connection Required

 

Military Service Log works completely offline. The app does not require an internet connection to function, and it does not communicate with any external servers or services.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

Since all data is stored on your device, we recommend:

 

• Regularly create backups of your data

• Store backup files in a secure location

• Use device passcode/biometric security

• Keep your device updated with the latest operating system version
